We offer three mulch varieties; each is natural, safe for pets, and locally sourced.

    Our organic mulch varieties.

    Fine Black Mulch

    Price: $11 per 62.5L bag

One bag covers 1m3 with an approximate 6cm depth.

Made from locally-sourced organic green waste, our Fine Black Mulch is carbon-based and manufactured by us, using a pasteurisation and partial-composting process. Being carbon-based, when this mulch breaks down into the soil, it plays a part in drawing down greenhouse gases and contributes to Australia’s goal of zero net emissions.

It slowly breaks down and naturally enriches the soil, contributing to a healthy and thriving garden. Fine Black Mulch helps protect against temperature variances, weeds, and water evaporation, and its rich dark colour makes garden beds pop.

    Woodchip Mulch

    Price: $11 per bag

One bag covers 1m3 with an approximate 6cm depth.

Locally sourced, our Woodchip Mulch is made from jarrah, woodgum, and marri trees, and has a slightly lighter colour when compared to our other varieties. This mulch protects soil and roots from temperature variances, retains moisture, and helps suppress weed growth.

    Pine Bark Mulch

    Price: $11 per bag

One bag covers 1m3 with an approximate 6cm depth.

Our Pine bark Mulch from local WA sources. It’s a lightweight mulch with a consistent chip size that’s easy to spread. This mulch protects soil and roots from temperature variances, retains moisture, and helps suppress weed growth.

    MULCHING

    Mulching makes all the difference

What an impact a bit of mulch makes! As you can see in the image, we had to do quite a lot of tidying up, including a bit of junk removal, before we placed down this beautiful rich mulch. First, we removed all the garden debris, including miscellaneous junk and an unwanted vine. We pruned back some plant life, and pulled out weeds and dead grass.

Then, we picked up about 1 cubic metre of mulch, did some tricky manoeuvres to reverse the trailer up her narrow driveway, and laid it down. This will help prevent weeds from growing through and keep the garden bed looking clean and healthy. Now, the space is ready for Gemma to plant something new and create an oasis in her outdoor space.
