Geraldton Wax - Chamelaucium Purple Giant

Chamelaucium uncinatum Purple Pride is an Australian native rounded shrub with masses of fine needle-like acicular leaves on branching stems. An abundance of bright purple waxy funnelform flowers with redish-brown centres appear during late winter and spring. An excellent addition to native gardens and is a fantastic cut flower specimen for indoor decorations. Prefers an open, sunny or partly shaded position and is able to grow in a wide range of free-draining soils.
